Climate Launchpad

ClimateLaunchpad (‘CLP’) is the world’s largest green business ideas competition. Our mission is to unlock the world’s cleantech potential that addresses climate change. The competition helps teams to transform their cleantech idea to a sustainable business model and eventually turn it into reality.  Fixing climate change, one start-up at a time. 

TheBC.lab together with Javeriana University and El Lab launched this year the Cleantech HUB in Cali to promote ideation in cleantech in the South West region of Colombia. We are betting on the large pool of talent to take Climate Action and solve social issues resulting from the Anthropogenic effects of Climate Changes. We are looking at ideas for social issues like: Clean Air in Cities, Access to Clean water and quality food, solution to reduce or reuse or single use plastics, etc.

For entrepreneurs in the cleantech space it is important to count on an ecosystem that supports their ideas. 

The ClimateLaunchpad started in 2014 in the European Union and has since generated almost 2,000 cleantech ideas, 8,000 clean jobs, and attracted EUR 400 million in seed capital in 55 countries worldwide. Together with our partners we will be rolling out CLP across the Latam region over the next couple of years.
